In one of the rare occassions that I dream while asleep (cos' I dream alot while I am awake..haha), I dreamt of the most unwonted. In my dream, our dear President declared that SAF Day on 1st July be made a Public Holiday for all male! Whahahaha!! Great, except that we all have to report to the nearest community centre to recite the SAF Pledge!

I contemplated over it the whole morning and decided to mention her passing too. It is terrible because she worked her career earnestly and yet only managed a short walk on the red-carpet. In a career which everyday is another step into uncertainty, she showed great perseverance when finally faced with the ONE certainity - death.
She bravely documented her ordeal and proudly showed it to the world in a mobid hope that news agencies all around will carry reports of her great fight of faith when she passes. How ironic then, that God would choose to call her back Home together with Jacko!
I mean..Oh Come On..now Jacko has stolen the lime light and all air time are allocated to his death and its surrounding mysteries, sidelining hers to the scrolling text at the bottom of our google box. Who could be blamed? For her death was an anticipated one, although no one could have predicted it to be together with Jacko's! Or was it vice versa?
How I feel with her.. and now that Heaven is kinda crowded today..she has to patiently wait in line to enter the gates of the New Jerusalem.

Promised Dave to spread the message of his participation in Hair For Hope (HFH) 2009 by the Children's Cancer Foundation.
HFH 2009 is a project and social avenue to allow people from all walks of life to express their support for these kids.
How? By shaving their heads bald and instantly removing the stigma that bald = i-am-a-cancer-patient.
Taking a step further is an online portal that allows these participants to create a profile
allowing their supporters to pledge their $$ to the cause.

This evening on my way back, on board the train, I saw a young couple listening onto the same iPod and were making little gestures in sync. Though discreet, their fingers forming the heart shapes, the pointing towards heaven, the double claps and finger twirling made it unmistakably Belinda Carlisle's Summer Rain! Lol.

sakura_no_kage posted about the recent discovery of an almost complete fossil of our early primate and, how Google paid tribute to the discovery by creating a home page logo with a picture of the fossil in replacement of their Double'Os. For a long time now, I have been fascinated by Google's creativity and have been keeping track of their logo designs. Over here, you see a compilation of their many different logos and this link shows you all the logos they have had since 1999 !!
I marvel at the fact that Google can pull off some of the more complex logos yet still making it instantly recognisable as simply GOOGLE! It's probably a testament to the fact that our brains works by archiving what we see as images rather than text, giving us the ability to recognise a word, even if it is mis-spelt, so long as the first and last few letters remain unchanged.

kevinexx the other day and realise that 26th July is a clash of SINGDOLLAR (the musical) and LIVERPOOL (the match! at SNS).
Quickly made some checks and I think both should fit nicely.
SINGDOLLAR at 3:00pm and LIVERPOOL at 7:00 or 8:00pm.
Tickets for SINGDOLLAR have been settled, $80+ i think.
Now waiting for tickets to the match, got pre-sale lobang!! Hehe.
CNA just let on that the ticket sale price would be at $88 & $188.
Wah...like that almost $200 gone in a day.

This evening as I was napping on the train on the way from work to gym.. I dreamt... of a special "uniform" party I have been invited to. Somehow, despite knowing what "uniform" meant, I turned up at the party dressed as..
GINGER BREAD MAN !!
Fainted* I was topless with 3 huge buttons stuck on my bare torso and had on a khaki shorts and was shoe-less !! And I walked with my arms stuck out at the sides like how the breadman would walk..
Could not stop thinking about the COSTUME while changing in the gym. Haha!
